·      to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve Zenseio products, services, applications, APIs, and cloud platforms;

·      to configure devices, deliver telemetry, process alerts, route data to customer systems, perform diagnostics, and support firmware or configuration updates;

5. IoT Device Data and Customer Data

Zenseio provides IoT hardware, connectivity, telemetry, diagnostics, and related platform services for customers and ecosystem partners. In many deployments, customers decide where devices are installed, what sensors are connected, what data is collected, and who may access the resulting telemetry.

Customer Data means data, content, telemetry, configuration, and records submitted to or generated through Zenseio services on behalf of a customer. As between Zenseio and the customer, customer agreements may further define ownership, access, retention, and permitted use of Customer Data.

Zenseio uses Customer Data to provide contracted services, support integrations, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability. We do not use Customer Data to build unrelated consumer profiles, and we do not sell Customer Data.

Customers are responsible for providing any notices, consents, permissions, and lawful basis required for their deployment of Zenseio products, including where devices monitor property, equipment, environmental conditions, worker housing, agricultural fields, or other sites controlled by the customer.

6. Mobile Apps and App Store Disclosures

Zenseio mobile applications may be used for device configuration, diagnostics, account access, alerts, field service, firmware or settings updates, or customer support. The exact data collected depends on the app version, enabled features, operating system permissions, and customer configuration.

6.1 Permissions

Zenseio apps may request permissions only when needed for specific functionality. Examples may include:

·      Bluetooth or local network access to discover or configure nearby devices;

·      camera or photo-library access to scan QR codes, attach support images, or document installations;

·      location access when required by the operating system for Bluetooth scanning, gateway/device setup, installation records, mapping, or asset-location features;

·      push notification permission for alerts, service notices, or account communications;

·      file or storage access to import/export configuration files, logs, or diagnostic data.

You may control app permissions using your device or operating system settings. Disabling a permission may limit app functionality.

6.2 App Store and Play Console Accuracy

Apple App Store and Google Play disclosures, including Apple app privacy details and Google Play Data safety forms, must match the actual data practices of each app and the third-party SDKs included in that app. Zenseio will update store disclosures when app functionality, SDKs, permissions, or data practices materially change.

7. SMS, Phone, and Email Communications

7.1 SMS Communications

If you provide your mobile phone number and expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Zenseio, we may send text messages regarding customer support, technical assistance, service notifications, account notifications, firmware updates, device diagnostics, appointment or scheduling coordination, and other operational communications related to your relationship with Zenseio.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of future SMS messages from the applicable Zenseio number. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact Zenseio at [email protected] or (972) 833-1717.

SMS is not used for unsolicited marketing. We may document SMS consent, opt-in source, opt-out requests, message logs, and related compliance records.

7.2 Required Mobile Privacy Statement

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except as necessary to provide messaging services.

Zenseio does not sell mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, or text-messaging opt-in data for marketing or lead-generation purposes.

7.3 Email and Phone

We may send transactional, service, account, billing, support, and security emails. We may also send marketing emails where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails, but service-related communications may continue as necessary to provide services, maintain security, or administer accounts.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Zenseio websites and online services may use cookies, pixels, local storage, log files, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate websites, remember preferences, improve services, understand traffic, diagnose errors, secure systems, and measure communications.

Depending on the website configuration, analytics or advertising tools may be provided by third parties such as hosting, analytics, security, CRM, email, or advertising providers. You can manage cookies through browser settings or available site controls. Some features may not work properly without certain cookies.

9. AI, Automation, and Support Tools

Zenseio may use AI, automation, search, summarization, ticketing, diagnostics, or knowledge-base tools to improve customer support, triage requests, draft responses, identify product issues, or maintain documentation. These tools may process support messages, telemetry snippets, logs, screenshots, or other information supplied for support purposes.

Zenseio uses such tools under administrative, contractual, and technical controls appropriate to the context. We do not intentionally submit sensitive customer information to public AI systems for unrelated model training. Customers should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information in support requests.

12. Data Retention

Zenseio retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure systems, maintain business records, and support product reliability. Retention periods vary by data type, customer agreement, legal requirement, and operational need.

Examples of retention considerations include device service life, customer contract terms, support-ticket history, billing and tax record requirements, security log usefulness, warranty periods, and backup lifecycle. We may retain aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information longer where it no longer identifies a person.

13. Security

Zenseio uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where appropriate, network security, monitoring, backups, least-privilege access, vendor management, and incident-response procedures.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Customers are responsible for protecting account credentials, limiting access to authorized personnel, maintaining secure integrations, and promptly notifying Zenseio of suspected compromise.

14. International Transfers

Zenseio is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Zenseio, customers, partners, or service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, Zenseio uses appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual terms, customer agreements, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
